An app by oddhatch
Knowsy knows what’s in your kitchen.
Scan the receipt when you get home. Knowsy keeps your pantry up to date, shows what you can cook with it, and tells you the moment a saved recipe is ready to make.
What it does
Receipts become a pantry
Photograph a grocery receipt — a long one in a few overlapping shots — and Knowsy reads every line into your pantry: fridge, freezer or dry goods, with a sensible use-by date. Check it over, fix anything, save.
Products and barcodes too
Bought something without a receipt? Snap the products or scan a barcode. Leftovers and things you add by hand fit in the same list.
Recipes from what you have
Every recipe shows how much of it you can already make — “4 of 5” — from a library of hundreds of thousands of recipes and from your own.
Save recipes from anywhere
Share a post from Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, or a link from a recipe site, and Knowsy turns it into a clean recipe with ingredients and steps.
“You can cook it now”
When a shop fills the last gap in a recipe you saved, Knowsy tells you. And it nudges you before food goes off, so it gets cooked instead of binned.
One kitchen, shared
Invite the people you cook with. Everyone sees the same pantry and shopping list, and allergies and food rules (like halal or kosher) are respected for everyone at the table.
Plans
Knowsy is a subscription with a 7-day free trial, sold through Google Play and the App Store. Pro gives you your own kitchen with every feature, and up to two people can join it as guests for free. Family gives those two people every feature too. Joining someone’s kitchen with their invite code is free. Prices are shown in the app and the store before you subscribe.
Knowsy speaks English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Arabic.
Your data, plainly
Receipt photos are read by an AI model on our server and not kept. Your allergies and food rules are stored only if you say yes. Usage statistics are shared only if you agree. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app.
